Why I care about the work of Caring House — Kathleen Phillips

From our continuing series of messages from supporters telling why they care about the work of Caring House.

Why I Care . . .

I care because of my Mother.  When my Mother told me her doctor had suggested she go on hospice, it was time for us to learn many new things. For us, her children and for her, it was a time of challenges.

With Caring House, and the home environment it will have, we will be able to give families a peaceful and calm place for their loved one and themselves.  Caring House will be that “home away from home” with support and help for all concerned.  Caring House will be that place where family members won’t have to worry if they can’t be with their loved one, because they will know that they’ll receive the care they need.
