Update #2 – Landscaping by Mother’s Day

Progress Report

Thanks to generous donors we’ve raised the full amount of our $15,000 project budget.

Our landscaping contractor (La Forest Landscaping) is working away.

  • This week they did much of the work on the pavers for our walkways and sitting areas (see photos).
  • Next week they’ll finish off the irrigation system and install our plantings front and back.
  • We’re on schedule for a beautiful result by Mother’s Day.

Julie Heinsheimer and Petra Lengauer have donated their professional services and created a complete plan for us. It includes plantings, walkways, sitting areas and updating the irrigation system. It incorporates beautifully our beloved silver dollar Eucalyptus.

We’re pricing things out and in the final stages of selecting an experienced and capable landscaping contractor.

If we keep on track and raise enough through donations, we can get everything done by Mother’s Day (May 8).
