Threshold Choir visits Caring House

Bringing peace and comfort through singing at the bedside, members of the Westside Threshold Choir visited Caring House this week. The Threshold Choir describes itself as a network of a cappella choirs of primarily women’s voices and a community whose mission is to sing for and with those at the thresholds of life. The Westside chapter is based in Santa Monica, and we reached out to them quickly after learning about the Choir at the Omega Home Network conference this summer.

In the photos, choirmembers Diane Head and Lynne Zamarin join visiting hospice nurse Shoko Sato and caregiver Sandra Vuoso in the living room, after singing at the bedside of a resident.

We’re thrilled with this connection and look forward to many more visits.
