Meet Zurlene A’Moore
Zurlene A’Moore has come to live with us at Caring House. We’re honored.
Born Zurlene Ann Monioz and a long-time resident of the South Bay, Zurlene went to Narbonne High School and studied graphic design at Los Angeles Harbor College.
Married to Derek Moore, Zurlene has three adult children (Christopher, Mandy and Keith) and seven grandsons (yes, all boys, shown with her in the photo).
Zurlene is a woman of strong Christian faith. She loves sermons and Christian music. And she keeps her bible nearby. One of her favorite bible verses (John 14:27) instructs:
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”
Zurlene loves people. Spend just a moment with her and you feel welcome. To quote Zurlene: “Things we think are important often aren’t — what’s important is using time wisely and connecting.”
We’re glad that Zurlene is with us at Caring House. She teaches us and adds to our peace.

Zurlene is one of the most courageous and beautiful souls I’ve ever met in my life. It has been a pleasure meeting her family, also. It has been an honor and privilege taking care of her.
Love and Prayers to Zurlene, Derek, and her Family,
Tracy (Caregiver)

I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting with Zurlene much, but have met your daughter, and loving husband, Derek. It says a lot about someone, to meet and see those that are there for them in this challenging time of life. You are surrounded by comfort and peace. Looking foward to seeing you and visiting when I am back at Caring House.
