Meet Sandra “Sandy” Lambrose
Sandra Lee “Sandy” Lambrose came to stay with us at Caring House, and we were honored to welcome her and her family.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Sandy was the youngest of twelve children born to Carle and Margaret Mock. When the family moved to California, Sandy attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Long Beach, which ended by being quite serendipitous. That was where she met the man who she would marry, Theros Robert Lambrose. The couple had two children, Tanya Lambrose Ruiz and Jason T. Lambrose, and five beloved grandchildren.
They eventually moved their family to Westminster, where Sandy was always hosting and cooking for everyone for any and all occasions. She was always known to support her family in any way she could.
Sandy worked for the County of Orange and Hoag Hospital. She was also a member of the California Perceptor Mu Omicrum chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the Red Hat Society. Beyond that, she enjoyed reading, cooking shows, sewing, and of course, spending time with her family.
We are so glad we could provide comfort, compassion, peace and dignity for Sandy and support for her beloved family.

A beautiful tribute to my beautiful friend of 35+ years. I can’t believe her passing was a month ago today. I talk to her and think of her every day. My visit to your caring house melted my heart in the care I know she received. Bless your heart Sandy . You are in mine forever.
