Meet Pamela Kim
Pamela (Pam) Hyun Sook Kim has come to live with us at Caring House. We’re honored.
Pamela was born in Seoul, Korea, one of five children.
Pam was raised and schooled in Korea, emigrating to the U.S. at the age of 30. She had met Phillip, her husband-to-be, in Korea, and they married not long after arriving in the U.S. (Sacramento). Pam’s sister also came to the U.S., while her three brothers remained in Korea.
From Sacramento the family moved to Daly City, then to Santa Monica and finally to Torrance.
Pam and Phillip have one child, Paul. Pam was a devoted stay-at-home mom. Phillip worked for an electronic component company in Los Angeles. Later on, Pam worked in the restaurant industry.
Pam loves California. And grocery shopping and cooking. She’s a dedicated Lakers fan, and enjoys watching Korean-language dramas. And heading to McDonald’s is always a treat for her.
When you meet Pamela you immediately see her sweet nature, and she’s not at all shy about expressing her gratitude.
We’re glad that Pam is with usĀ at Caring House. We look forward to caring for her.
