Flowers, cake and a sweet message

One of the wonderful things about being involved in the work of Caring House is getting to connect with many generous, caring people.

Donna, a volunteer and one of those generous, caring people, stopped by on Monday (our first day for welcoming residents and families). She brought beautiful flowers and a yummy cake she’d made from scratch — fresh from the oven. Topping it off, she brought a handwritten note for the Caring House team. Here’s what Donna said,

What a beautiful day this is. I feel honored to be among such loving people. I hope some day, when my time comes,, I will be so lucky as to have loving caregivers like all of you, in this place beside me.
