Don’t bake today – Brookdale cookies on the way

Baking is pretty much a daily happening at Caring House. Cookies, brownies, other treats for our residents and visitors.

But the first Wednesday of the month we let the oven rest. That’s the day that the chef at Brookdale South Bay bakes up a batch of “cookies for Caring House.”

Yum! These oatmeal, walnut, chocolate chip cookies disappear fast, but we got a photo this time before they were gone. Shown below is (from left) volunteer Lynne Zamarin welcoming the cookies brought by Jeanne Hagmaier and Kortnie Spitznogle of Brookdale.
