Celebrating 6 and 20 Years of Peace at the End of Life

Six and Twenty Years of Peace at the End of LifeSix years ago – on February 19 – we opened our doors for the first time to begin helping families experience peace at the end of the life with a caring, compassionate, supportive team of caregivers and volunteers. We are proud that three of our original caregivers – Tracy, Monica and Sandra – still help us care for our residents and families!

What’s more, this is also our 20-year anniversary… a group of dedicated and passionate volunteers began planning to make Caring House a reality in the South Bay in 2002, and for that, we are forever grateful. Because of that core group of volunteers, Los Angeles County now has a non-profit, home-based setting where families can leave their worries at the front door, giving them the opportunity to connect and reflect with their loved one – and each other – in a calm and tranquil setting.

We are proud to celebrate these two anniversaries that mark the start of a something wonderful… helping families experience the end of life the way it should be – with peace, comfort, support and dignity. Thank you for joining us on this journey. We couldn’t do it without the support and encouragement of an amazing community like you!

You can help us celebrate Caring House’s 6th and 20th anniversaries by making a donation to help more families experience peace at the end of life!
