Caring House video earns Excellence Award
Our video, “A Story of Three Hearts,” has received the Excellence Award from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). This is the top level of award by AIVA, and entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work. The judging category is Film / Video-Charitable / Non-profit.
“A Story of Three Hearts” was created for Caring House pro bono by the Media Services Department of Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Don Van Buren and Tim Branning from the Media Services Department produced, shot and edited the video. Carey Fujita of TheSouthBayDrones.com provided aerial drone footage.
In the video, family members of past Caring House residents share their thoughts about the Caring House experience. Residents and families are the “stars” of our work.
The Excellence Award is part of the 24th Annual Communicator Awards (2018), the leading international creative awards program honoring creative excellence for communication professionals.
