Artists for Caring House samples coming soon
Sunday October 4 debuts the Artists for Caring House auction
More than 50 South Bay artists are donating their original work for the benefit of Caring House. Any of the creations will be yours when you win its silent auction.
This is a unique opportunity to buy original art from more than 50 South Bay Artists who have generously donated artwork to Caring House. All kinds of art will be auctioned, from the traditional to the contemporary; large and small. Please come and spend a pleasant afternoon with us.
This will be fun — and 100% of the proceeds go to Caring House.
A generous donor is even picking up the sales tax! So bring your debit or credit card and/or checkbook.
Over the next couple of weeks we’ll be posting sample images from art that will be available at the auction. Peninsula Vista (below) is an example of art by participant Penny Kastagir. It’s one of my favorite paintings but, unfortunately, a smart art collector already bought the original from Penny.
This first-ever event is organized by artists Penny Kastagir and Barbara St. John and by Alton Takabayashi of Doffin Investments. Doffin Investments will not only host the event, it will provide food and drink.
